Location
The University is location at Nungua, a suburb of Accra. It is housed on a 174-acre ground and lies to the North-West of the Gulf of Guinea and to the West of the Mukwe lagoon.
The lagoon provides a suitable facility for training of students in lifeboat and other seamanship exercises. The Institution’s strategic position, about five minutes drive to the Port of Tema, offers students the opportunity for practical experience in ship operation, fisheries and dry dock repair.
The University is considerably remote from the hustle and bustle of the city and has a serene atmosphere conducive for studying.
